Youth Outreach Coordinator(Partime/Paid)

About the Role:
We’re seeking a passionate, trauma-informed Youth Outreach Coordinator to help build trust, lead workshops, and connect youth to services. This role blends direct engagement with creative programming, media collaboration, and community referrals. Ideal for someone with lived experience, counseling background, or youth justice advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate youth-led workshops and pop-up events
• Build relationships with schools, courts, and community orgs
• Support intake, referrals, and crisis stabilization
• Co-create media content with youth teams
• Document impact and feedback for program growth
Qualifications:
• Experience in youth services, counseling, or community outreach
• Strong communication and trauma-informed care skills
• Flexible schedule and reliable transportation
• Passion for youth empowerment and legacy-building
Compensation:
Hourly rate based on experience. Includes training and mentorship.

Founding Board Member (Volunteer / Governance Role)

About the Role:
Unbreakable Youth Center & Shelter is seeking founding board members to help shape our governance, compliance, and strategic direction. This is a legacy-driven opportunity to support youth empowerment, trauma-informed care, and transparent nonprofit launch.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person)
• Review and approve bylaws, budgets, and policies
• Support fundraising, outreach, and community engagement
• Uphold transparency and dual-role safeguards
• Champion youth voice and generational leadership
Ideal Candidates:
• Professionals in law, finance, education, youth services, or lived experience
• Committed to trauma-informed, equity-centered governance
• Able to serve a 1–2-year term with onboarding support

Youth Board Members (ages 14–21) and Legacy Advisors welcome.

Board Secretary (Volunteer / Governance Role)

The Board Secretary ensures accurate documentation, transparent communication, and smooth governance operations. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about youth empowerment and nonprofit integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record and distribute minutes from board meetings
• Maintain official records, resolutions, and compliance documents
• Support scheduling, agenda prep, and board communications
• Assist with onboarding packets and policy updates
• Uphold confidentiality and transparency standards
Qualifications:
• Strong writing and organizational skills
• Familiarity with nonprofit governance or willingness to learn
• Commitment to trauma-informed, youth-centered values

Honorary Youth Board Member (Volunteer / Leadership Role

About the Role:
Youth Board Members help shape programming, outreach, and media from a youth perspective. This is a leadership opportunity for young people ages 14–21 who want to make a difference and be part of something powerful.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend youth board meetings and creative sessions
• Co-design outreach campaigns and media projects
• Provide feedback on services and youth needs
• Represent youth voice in donor and community events
Qualifications:
• Ages 14–21, with lived experience or passion for youth advocacy
• Creative, committed, and ready to lead
• No prior experience required—just heart and vision
